Bath Cats and Dogs Home came to Swainswick - with Megan!

Last week, Lisa Brown from the Bath Cats and Dogs home held a workshop for all the children. The school council wrote a letter to Lisa and invited her to come and meet the children and discuss how, as a school, we can help the volunteers with their incredibly work.

Lisa was wonderful!

The children were delighted to learn about Megan, who was rescued by the centre 2 years ago. Her s story is a sad one - but as you can see from her photo - she has totally recovered from her experience and is happy, healthy and well loved.

The school council are holding a cake sale this Wednesday to raise money for the home. Well done councillors.

“She has really benefited from the different ages mixing, she often talks of the older children.

We feel all the staff know her, which is so special.”
