The School Day
The school gate is open at 8:30 and children are supervised from that time. If it’s wet weather please go to class Three. The bell rings at 8:55 and anyone who arrives after 9am needs to sign the late book in the office so we can make sure they are booked in for dinner.
Classes commence at 9.00am and there is a morning break for all classes at 10.30am. If you would like your child to have an fruit snack at morning break, please make sure it is named and take any snack boxes home. (We also provide a piece of fruit for every child, every afternoon)
We operate a one-way system at dropping off times in the morning and picking up times in the afternoon to avoid congestion in the narrow country lanes. Drivers are asked to enter the village through the top road, travelling down the hill and leaving southeast bound along Innox Lane. Please take care when driving, as a number of children and parents walk and cycle to and from school each day. Please also take care when parking not to obstruct neighbouring properties
We have 2 lunch sittings, accommodating both packed lunches and school lunches. The children have the opportunity to play outside either before or after their lunch.
The children in KS1 have a further short break in the afternoon.
The school day for Class 1 (Reception and Year 1) and Year 2, finishes at 3.15pm. All other classes finish at 3.30pm
